8 rules for running a race
Wednesday, March 4th, 2009
It may be hard to imagine running an outdoor race at this point, but race season really is just around the corner. I’ll be kicking it off later this month at Chicago’s Shamrock Shuffle 8K, along with more than 32,000 other runners and walkers. Registration closed weeks ago, so I know I’m not the only one thinking ahead. That makes this as good of a time as any to review some Runner’s World rules, whether you’re a race vet or a rookie. The overarching theme: Don’t be annoying.
